My name is Tammy Mitchell and this is my story:
Five years ago I went through some pretty tough times; selling my home could have been the toughest, however; Bill and the Fontaine Family Team held my hand every step of the way. I was a single mom who had no experience with selling a home and thus put complete faith in my realtors. My home hit the market and six months later we were signing the closing paper work and eliminating one of a thousand concerns I had back then.
Five year later I was back on my feet and contacted the Fontaine Family Team again, only this time it was to buy and under much nicer circumstances. Bill was extremely patient as my husband Steve and I looked, and looked and looked. We knew what we wanted; we knew we wanted to buy, but buying the right place that meet all of our needs was very important to us. Bill went out of his way to assist us with finding just the right place. Much like the mail man the weather did not matter, Bill meet us during snow storms and driving rain….
The day finally came when we found the house and land we had been looking for. Upon visiting the house for the first time I asked Bill what he thought – he was honest in suggesting an in depth inspection and educated us on the risks associated with buying a home over 100 years old. He assisted us in locating a great inspection company that was on site just a week later. When we arrived for our inspection Bill was there as the inspection team dug up the septic tank and tested every square inch of the house. There were no surprises we knew exactly what we were making an offer on.
Offers and counter offers were made, and finally closing day came. Bill gave us a call to let us know there was a concern on behalf of the selling agent. It was evident that there was going to be a delay; Bill knew we needed to close that day as we had lined up several maintenance folks to come in directly following the closing and were picking up the Fontaine moving van the next day. Through Bills tenacity and willingness to get it done we closed that evening. I didn’t have to change one appointment.
