We would personally like to thank you for helping us out of a financial crisis with our home.
Due to financial and medical hardship events, my husband and I were forced with a decision to surrender our home. We tried to refinance our home in December 2007 when I had foreseen us financially struggling. However, due to the falling market we were unable to get the refinancing we needed without having to contribute a large out of pocket dollar amount.
We were now living paycheck to paycheck until May 2008 when my husband was a victim of a bad car accident causing us greater financial hardship.
July 2008 we tried to get loan modification assistance to no avail. We kept getting the same story, keep making your payments and call us next month and we will see what we can do. Every month I would call and still no assistance. I felt like such a failure.
With no where to turn I had approached my then acting manager Mrs. Debby Cherry who introduced me to her husband, Mr. Don Cherry. Don had told my husband and me about short sales. It sounded like a remedy we needed to attempt. Don came out to our home in Casa Grande, AZ, took pictures, placed our home on the market in October 2008 and our home was sold by December 2008 and closed on January 14, 2009.
Don was remarkable and kept us in the loop the whole time. Whenever I had questions Don was just a phone call away. Don was so kind through the whole process. He never made me fill like I was an inconvenience to him.
I have to say that Don truly was our savings grace.
